I offer supervision/consultation to LPCAs who are working toward full licensure, as well as to fully licensed therapists who engage in supervision as part of their ongoing personal and professional support and development. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS), and about a quarter of my private practice is devoted to individual and group supervision.
Being a therapist is a personal and professional adventure in self-awareness and integration of our own hurt places. We keep it real by doing our own therapeutic and supervisory work, along with ongoing professional training. This is what frees us up to be flexible and trustworthy for our clients, even as we continue to grow and develop. Exploration of our own conscious and unconscious assumptions, and the places that scare us in our professional work, is key in developing mastery of the art and science of therapy. After all, everyone has an unconscious!
If you’re interested in talking about the possibility of working together in a supervisory relationship, give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to meeting you.
